The boundary the chart draws
Keep moving through the light and it eventually meets a boundary the chart pictures as a river — , the line where the spiritual sky gives way to material manifestation. The chart closely associates it with the Kāraṇa, the Causal Ocean, though the traditions it draws on don't always use the two terms identically.
A line, not a leap
Don't picture crossing it as falling into emptiness, and don't picture it as a beginning either. It's simply the dividing line itself — the place where one kind of reality yields to another, not a story's opening scene.
