Privacy Policy

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you. Amvrit has no login, no comments, and no form that submits back to us. We do not build profiles of visitors and we do not sell data — there is none to sell.

Analytics

We use Umami Cloud to count anonymous, aggregated page views — which pages are read and how far the guided journey gets. Umami is cookieless: it stores nothing on your device, records no IP address, and cannot follow you to other sites.

If your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal, Amvrit loads no analytics code at all and you are not counted. Umami Cloud is operated by Umami Software, Inc.; their privacy terms are published at umami.is.

Cookies

Amvrit sets no cookies of any kind — not for analytics, not for preferences, not for anything. Because nothing non-essential is stored, there is no cookie banner to click through.

Local storage on your device

If you use the guided journey, Amvrit records your progress — which chapters you have visited, and whether you have seen the primer — in your browser’s local storage. This stays on your device and is never transmitted to us. You can clear it at any time from the “Reset progress” control on the About page, or through your browser’s settings.

Infrastructure and server logs

The site is served through Cloudflare, Inc. (USA), which acts as the CDN and reverse proxy in front of it: Cloudflare terminates the HTTPS connection and forwards each request to the origin server, which is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany). Both keep short-lived technical logs — IP address, timestamp, the page requested, and browser user-agent — as a standard security and troubleshooting measure. These are not used to identify visitors and are rotated automatically.

Email

The site itself sends no email — there is no contact form, no newsletter, and no transactional mail. The contact address is a Cloudflare Email Routing alias: when you write to it, your message passes through Cloudflare and is forwarded to a personal mailbox, where it is subject to that mailbox provider's own terms.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — for example the EU or UK under the GDPR, or California under the CCPA — you have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you. Because Amvrit keeps no personal data on its servers beyond the transient logs above, there is usually nothing to act on, but you are welcome to contact us with any request or question.

Children

Amvrit is suitable for all ages and knowingly collects no information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above changes with it, and any material change will be noted on this page.
