Disappearance of Śrīla Sanātana Gosvāmī

Sanātana Gosvāmī left a ministerial post in the Bengal government to join Caitanya, who sent him to Vṛndāvana. There he and his brother Rūpa located and restored the sites of Kṛṣṇa's pastimes and produced the tradition's early systematic texts — the Bṛhad-bhāgavatāmṛta and the Hari--vilāsa among them. communities mark his disappearance day at Vṛndāvana.
